Yves Saint Laurent Arty Statement Ring

This Yves Saint Laurent statement ring circa 1980s features layers of gold plate, copper plate and silver alloy. Shades of gold, copper and silver are visible on this incredible wearable piece of sculpture. 

Did we contemplate re-plating this piece in 24K gold? Yes, we did. However, we love the look of the original objet d'art. We love that the wear tells a story. Someone partied while looking very chic wearing this.
