Scottish Masonic Locket in 925 Silver with Leather & Silver Necklace
This intricately designed 925 silver Masonic locket features the masonic symbol, along with roses symbolizing purity, immortality and unfolding of human consciousness. Only Master Masons were allowed to wear these lockets. On the reverse side of the locket is a Scottish thistle. This could mean the owner is either a descendant of or a member of The Order of the Thistle (an chivalric order dating from James VII in 1687) or, more likely, a member of The Grand Lodge of Scotland.
