These charms feature Moroccan dinosaur bone (aka: dinosaur agate, agatized dinosaur bone or just "gem bone"). It's really a kind of fossil form from the Jurassic & Triassic periods found in Morocco. Through a process involving superheated water and millions of years, the bone is replaced by agate, quartz, etc. in a process called "demineralization". The result is a beautiful and unique piece of history from when dinosaurs roamed our planet.
