Los Castillo 925 Silver Maille Bracelet
The fine mesh strands of this delicate 925 silver bracelet are helt together with bowtie panels decorated with Aztec influenced sunburst/floral and bird patterns. It dates from the early 1940s and was an early piece by the Castillo Brothers from their workshop (Los Castillo) in Taxco, Mexico. Their workshop was founded in 1939 by Don Antonio, Jorge, Miguel, and Justo Castillo, along with Antonio’s wife Margot van Voorhies Carr (known later as Margot de Taxco.)
