Originally from Bombay, India – JENNA MATTISON MIRZA is a TV
developer, screenwriter & novelist. She currently has several TV drama
pilots and features in development since transitioning from independent film
in 2018. On the TV side she’s serving as Ep/Writer developing a JAMES
PATTERSON international bestseller into a serialized series titled The
Gimble Files with Ted Field (Jumanji, The Wheel Of Time) at Radar
producing and Edward Bernero (Criminal Minds) show-running. She was
brought on to Mike Mignola (Creator of HELLBOY'S) The Forever House
anthology series to write & develop the pilot. She also developed and wrote
the pilot for SKAM with Team Downey (Robert Downey Jr’s company). Her
paranormal procedural THE BEYOND has been optioned by Emmy award
winning producer Leslie Greif (The Offer).
On the feature side in 2024 she’s been brought on to adapt a psychological
thriller novella from the author of BIRDBOX Josh Malerman. She was also
commissioned in 2021 to write the script for NY Times bestselling author
Sophié Kinsella’s (Confessions Of A Shopaholic) latest film adaptation and
brought on to adapt a second Kinsella bestseller I’VE GOT YOUR
NUMBER in 2023. And she recently completed adapting THE
TRANSCENDENTS, an upcoming YA fantasy novel. Next she will adapt the
NY TIMES bestselling memoir DYING TO BE ME for Wonderstreet (Beasts
Of No Nation) THE SOUND, an elevated psychological thriller film, which
she wrote, directed & produced, was released through MGM’s Orion &
Samuel Goldwyn theatrically. Her previous indie films are available though:
Sony, Samuel Goldwyn, Netflix, Amazon, Lionsgate etc. She was honored
with the Academy Of Motion Pictures inducting two of her produced feature
scripts into their Core Collection Library.
