Daniel’s intro into the zombie and horror genre came after becoming obsessed with reading about the walking dead. When he finished reading his 120th zombie novel, he discovered a lack of good detective zombie fiction in all of the books he’d read. His debut novel, Grey Matters and his detective character, Mike Manly, fills this vacancy in the genre and gives rise to a new breed of zombie fiction. Daniel is a full-time professor, teaching graphic design and multimedia in Northern California and has also written nine books on web design, logo design, typography, and interface design.
