This Cheshire Cat Locket is made of 925 Sterling silver, has a hinged closure to keep your most precious photo, and carries a stamp from the maker, Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab, dated 2008. Only 40 were made. The design is modeled after the original artwork from Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland depicting the Cheshire Cat's face looming over the Queen of Hearts and her cohort.

This locket was originally created as a "Scent Locket", meaning that the wearer is meant to heavily scent cotton, velvet or muslin in perfume and then put the fabric in the locket to wear all day as the pure silver conducts heat from the wearer's body to the scented fabric in the locket. Whether used to hold perfume or mementos, let this locket be the talk of your next croquet match (with or without flamingoes.)
